The Faraday Challenge
On Friday, six of our Year 8 students represented the school in the Faraday Challenge. Competing against four other local schools, our team engaged with the “future flight” challenge, designing a product that would aid drone technology in the future. Our team devised a working prototype for a pulley system that would automatically deliver parcels to different levels of a building after a drone had dropped them on the vertiport on the roof of the building. Our students were exemplary throughout the day. Their creativity, teamwork and problem solving abilities were outstanding and we’re so incredibly proud of them. Thank you so much to Sunderland University and the Institution of Engineering and Technology for such a fun day!
