Spooktacular Stories
Well done to pupils who entered our Halloween Writing Competition over half term. It was certainly difficult to choose a winner from the chilling tales submitted. Congratulations to Ben Anderson for a fantastic story centred around an eerie sweet shop named ‘Spooks and Confections’. Also well done to Nathan Forder for his story ‘Halloween Horror’ which was submitted in the format of a real book, complete with a synopsis and spooky images. The winners received a £5 high street voucher and a Halloween goody bag.
Poppy Brown, Oliver Schofield and Erin Miller were also awarded with spooky sweets as worthy runners-up. Praise points will be awarded as a thank you to everyone who took part.
