Scorching Cricket Encounter

Well done to the new cricket team who once again took to Ashbrooke Cricket Club for their rescheduled game against Newcastle School for Boys. The game was extremely tight coming into the final over with 15 runs needed to win! The over started brilliantly with Roman hitting two successive boundaries. With 1 ball left Southmoor were in need of 3 runs to win. Unfortunately only 1 run was scored leaving our young cricketers 2 runs short of victory.  Man of the match was awarded to Roman Bozyak for an excellent display with both bat and ball.
