Congratulations to the ten students who have been awarded the Sir Tom Cowie Trust Musicians Award for making the most progress since receiving their free instrument in September. The winners were:  Jack Short, Atlanta Younger, Eva Onwuki and Lily Gillespy for violin; Erin Snaith for trombone; Ruby Corbett and Michael Jones for trumpet and Jack Forster for clarinet. These students will now go on to start the new year their free instrumental lessons with a specialist tutor.

Congratulations also go to the huge number of Year 7 pupils who have worked extremely hard all term but were not successful in their audition – there will be another round of auditions for tuition prizes next term, so keep up the hard work!
