Knife Crime Workshop with Northumbria Police
We welcomed representatives from Northumbria Police to highlight the dangers and legalities of carrying bladed weapons in public. Knife crime has been on the rise across the country recently so students were given the opportunity to learn about the recent changes to the laws surrounding knives. There was also an opportunity to ask questions, which our pupils did enthusiastically, raising a lot of good points as well as debating the dangers of carrying or concealing a bladed weapon.
