Fun at the Physics Fair
A Year 7 team represented Southmoor in the ‘Physics is Fun’ competition final at St Peter’s Campus of Sunderland University competing against teams from five other schools of the Ogden Trust Sunderland Partnership. There was also an inspiring presentation on the size of the Universe by Dr Peter Edwards from the Physics Department of Durham University. Southmoor and Sandhill View (our Trust partner school) finished joint second in the competition. Well done to everyone who took part!
