We saw the return of our Year 10 Work Experience programme. After a pause of over two years, over 170 students finally had the opportunity to join some brilliant employers for the week to gain knowledge of the world of work. Students sourced and secured many of their own placements in a wide range of different sectors. During their placements, students were able to really see how what they are learning in school links to the world of work. We would like to pass on a huge thank you to all of the many employers who opened their doors to our students. We have received amazing feedback from the employers about our students.

Those students who remained in school for the week took part in a range of Careers related learning activities, supported by many of our partner employers including Foundation of Light, Apprenticeship Service, Red Sky Foundation, Home Group, SETA, Just Eat and the British Army. Students also had the opportunity to develop their interview technique, create their own CVs and learn about their employability skills through Skills Builder.
