Sunderland University and BGL hosted a session for Year 9 focused on machine learning and artificial intelligence where they got to put Google’s ‘quick draw’ algorithm to the test, contributing to actual machine learning research. This was a great introduction into an emerging field of computer science and a fantastic opportunity to attract more females into the IT/computer science sector.
