Sky’s The Limit With The CCF
An action packed week last week for our CCF Section with cadets flying, many for the first time, and a visit to IWM Duxford with community ATC Squadrons.
Flying at RAF Leeming is always a sought-after experience and all six cadets achieved their blue RAFAC wings. Wings are awarded after theory sessions, simulator familiarisation and a live flight – well done!
Imperial War Museum Duxford is a branch of the Imperial War Museum near Duxford in Cambridgeshire, England. Britain’s largest aviation museum, Duxford houses the museum’s large exhibits, including nearly 200 aircraft, military vehicles, artillery and minor naval vessels in seven main exhibition buildings.
The CCF recruitment window will be opening soon – if you’re interested be sure to seize the opportunity and look out for more information!
