In between visiting the university for our Careers Fair, students in Years 9 to 11 took part in a range of activities in order to prepare them for successful future study. Year 9 students discovered more about the range of options that will be available to them to study at GCSE level in Year 10 by taking part in a carousel of taster sessions in humanities and sport. Year 10 students had the opportunity to learn more about important revision skills and the importance of good mental well-being when completing revision in workshops delivered by our Psychology department. Year 11 students also learned more about the importance of setting a revision timetable and different techniques to prepare for their upcoming mock and real GCSE exams.
