High Flying Southmoor Scholars

Our scholars learnt about aerospace engineering with a lecture that introduced them to aerodynamics and the technology behind flight. Students had a go at engineering their own paper planes before following a variety of different designs that showed them how small changes can shape an aircraft’s trajectory, speed and lift in dramatic ways!
