We were delighted to be joined by inspirational speaker, entrepreneur and author Andrew ‘Bernie’ Bernard yesterday to lead our first ever Enterprise Soapbox with Year 8. This workshop was a business simulation where students had the opportunity to work in teams and become a business for the session. They had to imagine, plan, design, manufacture, package, promote and pitch their own real soap product.  They had to use skills such as creativity, practicality, design, finance and leadership all under time pressures. The workshop was an ideal opportunity to explore business, science and STEM jobs as well as learning about how to run a business. The students all thrived on the opportunity.
