Students in Years 7 to 10 spent time exploring the countless opportunities for English study in Higher Education. Students discussed the difference between classroom teaching and university teaching and the possible employment benefits of completing a course in English. Following this, students used persuasive language and creativity to create marketing pitches for a new invention of their choice. We had some fantastic innovations, from self-writing pens to flying cars and medical drones. Hopefully it’s not too long until we can purchase our students fantastic inventions!
