Brilliant Club

Students in Year 9 have been working with ‘The Brilliant Club’ to complete the Scholars Programme alongside a PhD tutor. Our topic is ‘Disease Detectives’ and so far students have learned about infectious diseases, how they spread and interventions and treatments to prevent epidemics. The programme will culminate in the writing of an academic research paper which will be marked using undergraduate degree criteria.
