Before half term, Mrs Doherty set Year 9 Geography students the homework task of creating model volcanoes and the results were fantastic! We had some truly fantastic entries, with lots of detail and effort put into every single model. The difficult task of judging the winners was given to Mrs. Maw, who as a geography teacher herself, was impressed by the accuracy of depiction on display. After picking three runners up Mrs. Maw chose the truly epic piece that not only showed off an erupting volcano, but an unfortunate model town caught in the path of its destruction! Well done to all the students who took part.
