Year 9 Get A Taste Of Durham University
A group of Year 9 pupils visited Durham University for a jam-packed campus experience. We started off with a tour of the university, followed by a skills session. The afternoon was full of taster sessions: students learned about Ancient Egypt by handling 5000-year-old artefacts, learned to analyse human remains in a skeleton science project, observed experiments with dry ice in a ‘cool materials’ session, and finally made our own glow sticks in the chemistry lab.
