Geography Students Out in the Field
Year 10 geographers have been out and about in the sun collecting data to help them answer fieldwork questions in their exam next year. They spent time in Newcastle and South Shields looking at the impact of regeneration around Graingertown, and sand dune development. They’ll now spend time analysing their data in the classroom to form conclusions and evaluate their performance. Three days of excellent weather accompanied the first post-COVID GCSE fieldwork and a good time was had by all. There was even time to squeeze a couple of ice creams in whilst on the beach… hard work!
