Monday the 14th November saw the Houghton Area Youth Band perform at the prestigious Royal Albert Hall as part of the Music for Youth Proms. They were the first band to take the main stage and also opened the second half, playing a fanfare piece from high up in the Gallery. Well done to Southmoor pupils Danielle Winch and Matthew Snaith, who took part in this fantastic event within this magnificent auditorium.
