Each subject in school has their own careers week and this year’s theme is all about stepping into higher education. In History Careers, pupils were given the opportunity to consider the skills that the study of History will help them with in terms of employability. Pupils were shown aspects of careers in law, media, journalism and the civil service, discussing the skills necessary for these careers then investigating how History develops these skills. Pupils were then asked to consider how they might achieve their own goals with the skills to develop in History.
