Year 10 Work Experience Launch

During assembly, Mr Wareham launched this year’s Year 10 Work Experience programme. After a 2-year absence, we are delighted to offer the opportunity for all our Year 10 students to complete a one-week placement with local employers between Monday 13th and Friday 17th June 2022. We encourage all Year 10 students to source a suitable placement which will support to improve their employability skills, to learn about the world of work, to create contacts for the future and to see how to apply learning in the classroom to the real world. Parental Consent Forms must be returned by Friday 18th February, and final placement forms returned no later than Friday 13th May so that relevant Health and Safety checks can be completed. For more information and to download the relevant forms, please visit our Work Experience page on the school website. Mrs Robinson is available to support with Work Experience and can be contacted in school by phone or email (careers@southmoormat.co.uk).
