On Wednesday, we were delighted to welcome once again local singer and songwriter Zackri into school. Zackri (real name Zak Hull) performed for students back in 2023 and it was wonderful to have him back in school again to perform and talk to our Year 7 and 8 students. During each workshop, Zackri performed some of his own songs as well as versions of other well-known songs. In between his performances, Zackri spoke to our students about online safety, cyberbullying and issues related to mental health. He was able to give great advice to our students as they grow up from his own personal experiences. Students were really enthusiastic in singing and dancing along to Zackri, including the first ever Year 7 ‘mosh pit’ at the front of the main hall. We look forward to following Zackri’s career and welcoming him back into school again in the future.
