Year 9 Discover York
To end this half term, with Year’s 7 and 8 both having enjoyed year group trips to Bambrough and Beamish respectively, it was Year 9’s turn to have fun out and about learning more about our region’s heritage in York. The entire year group had a fantastic time visiting such historic landmarks as York Minster, the Shambles area as well as the Castle Museum. As part of their trip students completed geography and RE tasks but there was also plenty of time to discover and explore one of our region’s most beautiful cities.
