Last week the PE department took a strong team of Yr 7 & 8 swimmers, cyclist’s and runners to Silksworth’s Puma Centre, to compete in the city’s annual Triathlon Event. Our team raced against other Sunderland Schools and against the clock to complete a timed session in each of the disciplines and the winners completed the longest distance in the allocated time.
Tom Holt in Year 7 won the individual boys event and our other competitors added to our overall total. Well done to all of our team: Emily Forster, Molly Melia, Arun Tivegna, Leo Bewick, Anna Trewick, Elodie Frost, Seth Cruickshanks and Tom Holt.
