Our annual Tin Appeal came to a close with our final collection. Over 3000 tins were collected by the school community. This is an amazing number of tins and we would like to thank everyone for their huge generosity. The tins were distributed to St Mary’s Church and to Austin House, Southwick (Salvation Army). The charities were absolutely overwhelmed and so thankful for the amount of tins donated. The tins will be used to provide a hot meal for the homeless in the Sunderland area over the Christmas period. We would particularly like to highlight some of our forms who were able to collect a staggering number of tins: Triton 7C, Griffin 8B, Triton 9C, Griffin 10A and Triton 11C.
