Since September, our judging panel for the Royal Society’s Young Person’s Book Prize have been hard at work, judging the six books nominated for the prestigious award. The panel’s judging came to an end and we finally have a winner! Our six books were judged on their look, ease of reading, interest and inspiration. Our panel decided that, with an overall score of 19/20, “Fantastically Great Women Scientists and their Stories” was our winner. This has been submitted to the Royal Society. We’ll find out if our views matched the other 700 judging panels across the country later this year! We’ve had a fantastic time and can’t wait to hopefully judge for the competition again next year!
