Well done to all incoming Year 7 students who got arty this week by taking on our Art Challenge where they were asked to created a map of their new route to Southmoor in September. We had some fantastically creative examples this week from Holly Barrass and Evie Stuart as well as a moving version from George Cowley who was literally thinking outside the box with his entry.
The winner this week though comes from Kori Hill who drew this fantastically detailed version of her school route. Well done!
Next week it is the turn of our Modern Foreign Languages Department who are asking pupils to pick a place in Germany or France and do a ‘TripAdvisor’ style review of it. This could include researching things to do there, weather, sights to see and also phrases they would need to say in the language when they are there such as please, thank you, hello or goodbye. Bonus points for creative presentation! Good luck!
