The Southmoor Scholars 2025 Programme has officially come to a close, with students submitting impressive final projects, presenting their work to Mrs Maw, and graduating at a special ceremony hosted by Castle College at Durham University.

Our Scholars have shown incredible curiosity, independence, and dedication—producing work on some truly fascinating projects covering modern culture, history, books, philosophy and much more! The diversity of subjects reflected a high level of academic thinking and research.

At Durham, students enjoyed a tour of the historic Castle College, lunch in the Great Hall, and an inspiring graduation ceremony in the castle grounds. It was a fitting end to a fantastic programme.
