Rugby Spirits Shine

Our Year 8 rugby team recently took part in their final tournament of the season, bringing a fantastic end to a year of hard work, improvement and teamwork.

The players showed great determination and skill throughout the tournament, supporting each other and representing the school with pride. It was a great way to celebrate the progress the team has made across the season.

A special mention goes to Christiano, who received the T.R.E.A.D.S Award for his positive attitude, teamwork and commitment. David was recognised as the top try scorer for his impressive attacking performances throughout the season, while Joseph was named Player of the Season for his outstanding contribution and consistency.

Well done to all the players for a fantastic season of rugby.

Meanwhile our Year 9 mixed team recently took part in an exciting T1 Rugby Festival, showing fantastic teamwork, determination and sportsmanship throughout the event.

The team played brilliantly across all their matches and worked their way to the final with some excellent attacking play and strong defence. In a closely contested final, they were narrowly beaten by just one try, but their effort and commitment were outstanding from start to finish.

Despite the narrow result, the team should be incredibly proud of their performance and the positive attitude they showed throughout the festival. It was a fantastic display of teamwork and school spirit.
