Rise of AI Workshop

On Friday, we welcomed into school Yasmin and Shannon, volunteers from PwC (PricewaterhouseCoopers) to deliver a very exciting workshop to selected Year 9 students about The Rise of AI. During the session, students had the opportunity to find out about what PwC actually does as an organisation which is the second largest Professional Services firm in the world. Students started with a code breaker task before finding out about the world of Generative AI, with examples including ChatGPT.

Students compared images to see which ones were created by humans and those created by AI and finally they explored AI as an assistant tool rather than a replacement for humans. Students ended the session with learning more about the different career pathways available with PwC. We would like to thank PwC for their support in our Careers programme this year as nearly 100 students have had the opportunity to work with the company at some point this year.
