Last week, our students took part in the ‘Bikeability’ scheme—a government-approved National Standard for cycle training designed for the modern age. This course equips young people with the essential knowledge, skills, and confidence needed to ride safely on today’s roads. Throughout the week, students set off from school during the day to practice navigating our streets as part of the Level 3 training, which involves riding on busier roads and handling more complex junctions. Upon successfully completing each of the three levels, students receive badges and certificates to recognise their achievement.
