Our Year 10 Business students put their market research knowledge into practice on Thursday visiting the Metrocentre. Students have been developing their own business idea which they will pitch to the class in the new year, in preparation students developed their own questionnaires and planned, and prepared observations. Once at the Metrocentre students found courage and confidence to ask members of the public to complete their questionnaires with some getting up to 20 filled out.
They spent time learning how the Metrocentre meets the needs of customers and supports the businesses, as well as observing customer behaviour. Studnet also left with an appreciation for the trend in chicken and awareness of the USPs for Wingstop, Popeye’s, Slim Chickens and KFC – several opted for Milkshakes from Wingstop and chicken from Slims. Students represented the school brilliantly, travelling on the train we had comments on their positive behaviour and Darren, Head of Security at the Metrocentre also praised the group. Thank you to the Metrocentre for supporting our visit and welcoming our students.
