100 of our students attended a stunning performance of the hit Broadway musical Hamilton at the Sunderland Empire. The experience was a huge success, combining entertainment with a powerful educational message.
Hamilton tells the story of Alexander Hamilton, a Founding Father of the United States, through a unique mix of hip-hop, R&B, and traditional musical theatre. Its diverse cast and modern style make American history engaging and relevant for today’s audiences.
The students were fully immersed in the show and came away inspired. Many had never seen live theatre on this scale before, making it a memorable first for some. We’re also proud to report that their behaviour was excellent throughout the trip.
It was a fantastic day that brought history to life and showcased the impact of the arts in education.
