Year 11 had the opportunity to follow-up their visit to our recent Careers Fair, by experiencing a range of taster sessions in Sixth Form subjects or hear from external providers. This was to hopefully help our students in making their final post-16 pathways decisions by hearing from subjects or providers that are relevant to them. Sixth Form taster sessions included a wide range of subjects such as English, Maths, German, Science, Sport, History and Geography. Many external providers came into school to talk to students such as Newcastle College, Sunderland College, Seetec Outsource, Apprenticeship Service and Seta. Students will continue to have their 1:1 guidance interviews with Mrs Robinson, our Careers Advisor, and should now be making their final decisions about what they will do in September 2023.
