We launched our brand-new Careers Café. This is a weekly event, taking place every Monday at 1pm in Southmoor House for students in Years 9 to 13. We welcomed Kier Construction and Speakers for Schools to talk informally with our students and to answer any questions. Both organisations will be returning to a future Careers Café if students missed them this time. On Monday 14th November we welcome Robson/Laidler, an award-winning accountancy, business advisory and wealth management firm with offices in Newcastle and Durham that operates globally. This is a great opportunity for students to ask questions about this sector. In the following week, on Monday 21st November, we welcome the Civil Service with representatives from HM Revenue and Customs and the Prison Service.
