Well done to Southmoor student Harvey Turner who has been attending army cadets for three years now and over the last year has taught classes, taken parades and supported new cadets in the Houghton detachment setting an excellent example for all his fellow cadets. He was surprised with a well-deserved promotion to Lance Corporal Turner. His family are so proud of him and wanted to share his achievement with his peers at Southmoor. Well done, Harvey!
In related news, our very own air cadets have once again been on the parade ground, sharpening their skills in formation and drills, taking commands and learning to work crisply together as a single unit, looking fantastic in their new uniforms!
