Attendance Advent & All New All Stars

Students were introduced to two new attendance incentives that will run to Christmas, to reward students who give every effort in making every day count towards their education. From December, our Attendance Advent will return, with students getting the chance to win treats everyday they are in school between the 1st of December and when we break up on Tuesday 20th December.

In addition, we are introducing a new incentive called ‘Attendance Allstars.’ Students who retain 100% attendance throughout the week will be awarded with a ticket that they can then redeem every Friday lunchtime as the dedicated Allstars serving hatch on the main yard. Students that have earned their ticket can take their choice from a hot chocolate or chocolate bar as a reward for being in school.

Attendance in incredibly important and is one of our big main focuses going forward. The difference between students who are in school for 95%+ of the school year and those who are not can be upto two full GCSE grades in any subject thanks to miss learning. Therefore, every student needs to be in everyday to make it count towards their vital education.
