Our Year 7 students recently enjoyed a fantastic day out at Bamburgh Castle, with the whole year group heading north for an action-packed day of history, exploration and a little seaside adventure!
Every Year 7 student had the chance to visit this iconic Northumberland landmark. Students explored the magnificent castle, discovered more about its fascinating history and took in the stunning coastal views before heading down to the beach to brave the classic Northumbrian weather!
The adventure even came with an unexpected twist when one of our coaches broke down. Despite the delay and disruption, our students were absolutely fantastic — demonstrating patience, maturity and excellent behaviour throughout the mishap.
Thankfully, nothing could dampen their spirits, and everyone returned home with plenty of memories from a brilliant day out.
Well done, Year 7 — you were a credit to the school!
