Over the summer, our site team and volunteers have been working hard behind the scenes to make Southmoor Academyan even better place for our students.
One of the biggest improvements is the addition of brand-new student toilet facilities in our new block, providing a modern and much-needed space for our students.
Work is also underway to transform what many alumni will remember as the Library and Gateway. The famous spiral metal staircase that has been part of school life for years has finally had its day, with a striking new grand staircase set to become a defining feature of the new space.
A huge thank you also goes to our Sixth Form volunteers, who have spent their summer painting room after room, giving our learning spaces a fresh new look.
And, of course, a massive thank you to our fantastic site team for all their hard work throughout the summer!
