On Friday, we were delighted to welcome into school a diverse powerhouse rock band called Runaway Club. The band, made up of Angel, Reece, Sammy and Charlie, are based in the famous festival town of Glastonbury and have spent the last six months creating their debut EP. The band are managed by the same team that managed ‘The Wanted’ and ‘The Saturdays’. The band played some of their songs for our Year 7 and 8 students and then spoke to them about mental health, discrimination, and bullying. There was also an opportunity for questions and answers. The band shared their experiences of dealing with mental health to give advice to our young students.
