Battle Ready at Warhammer World

This week, Dr Evans took a group of students on a special trip to Warhammer World in Nottingham to celebrate the success of the school’s hugely popular after-school Warhammer Club. Throughout the year, students have enjoyed building, painting and gaming with miniature armies as part of the tabletop strategy game, which combines creativity, storytelling and tactical thinking.

During the visit, students explored the museum space, which features spectacular miniature dioramas set within Warhammer’s iconic fantasy and science-fiction worlds. They also had the opportunity to play games in the impressive gaming hall under the guidance of the knowledgeable Warhammer World staff, before painting and taking home their own miniature model.

Everyone had a fantastic day and gained a deeper appreciation for the hobby. A huge thank you to the team at Warhammer World for their time, enthusiasm and support in making the visit such a memorable experience.
