Raising & Giving Week 2026

This week was our annual Raising and Giving Week for Red Sky Foundation. Over the last three years, we have raised over £5000 for Red Sky Foundation through our Raising and Giving Weeks, with all the money donated going directly to the charity to support their life changing work.

On Wednesday and Thursday, tutor groups hosted the fundraising stalls in the main yard. This year there was a huge variety of stalls, including wet sponges, bake sales and so many more. On Thursday evening was the annual Southmoor’s Got Talent event where 7 acts took to the stage to compete to take the crown this year, all judged by a panel of experts including Mr Wright, Mrs Draper and Sergio Petrucci, CEO of Red Sky Foundation.

The winner this year is Lana who sang a wonderful version of ‘Naughty’ from the musical ‘Matilda’.

On Friday, the Sixth Form held a bake sale, and everyone in school was encouraged to WEAR RED for the day, by swapping school blazers for red hoodies instead. Following a busy and exciting week, we are delighted to have raised £1300 for Red Sky Foundation. Thank you to everyone in our school community for your support throughout the week.
