Over half term 40 of our Y10-Y13 students spent 4 days in the Spanish city of Barcelona. During the 4 day visit, pupils visited the famous La Boqueria market, sampled lots of traditional Spanish tapas and took in various famous tourist spots including the Olympic stadium, Poble Espanyol, Park Guell and of course, the famous Sagrada Familia. We even managed to squeeze in a surprise visit to Camp Nou, Barcelona FC’s home ground and of course, lots of shopping. On the last night, pupils ate at the Hard Rock Cafe and ended the trip with a relaxing boat trip around the port of Barcelona.
IIt has been a busy and inspiring trip, offering students a chance to practise their language skills while discovering Barcelona’s history, architecture, and culinary delights first-hand.
