Last week, we’ve been celebrating Valentine’s Day and sharing the love across school!
On Friday, our student council members joined in the fun by dressing up with heart-shaped deeley boppers and glasses. Haribo Heart Throbs were handed out at breaktime, and love songs filled the school, creating a joyful and festive atmosphere. Mrs Roddam also again pulled out all the stops with one of her famous and thematic costumes.
Students also took part in a “sweets in a jar” competition, guessing how many sweets were inside for a chance to win a treat. The winner was Isobel from Miss Cassell’s form class (9JC), who guessed the closest number of Haribo Heart Sweets in the jar. She guessed 742 and there were 772. She gets to share her prize with the form class.
It was a fun, lively way to celebrate the season — love was definitely in the air!
