Our colleagues at Global Bridge, hosted their annual Future Stars virtual event. Students in Year 9 had the opportunity to attend virtually during one of their lessons with their class teachers. At the event, there were presentations from Baroness Tanni Grey-Thompson, Paralympic Athlete, and Sian Gabbidon, winner of ‘The Apprentice’ 2018. Students had the opportunity to visit various event booths hosted by employers such as Siemens, Mako, PwC and Further & Higher education providers including UCL, Newcastle College and Newcastle University. Students could also chat live with the employers through a live chatbox function. The event was a great opportunity for students to find out more about possible future career pathways. The actual event remains open, and students can access all the resources on demand.
