The Army Roadshow Southmoor Posting

We were delighted to welcome representatives from the British Army into school to run a roadshow across two days with some of our Year 9 and 10 students. The Roadshow was to give students an introduction to the work of the British Army. The students had the opportunity to find out more about the different roles within the Army, including Army Medics and Infantry. The students also completed some team building and orienteering exercises to give them a flavour of the types of training to be involved in the Army. After the event, many students are considering a future in the Army has an exciting prospect. We would like to thank the representatives from the Army for giving up their time to come into school.
