The MFL department are organising a visit to the German capital city of Berlin. This will take place from 14th to 17th December 2023. During the visit, students will have the opportunity to explore this fascinating city, take a tour to the top of the famous TV tower, sample German culture and cuisine. As the trip takes place in December, students will also visit the world-famous Berlin Christmas markets. The trip will involve flights direct to Berlin and 3 nights half board stay in a hotel near Alexanderplatz.
40 places are available to students in current Years 9, 10, 11 and 12. To secure a place on the trip, a parental consent form needs completing and returning to Miss Moran, and a £150 deposit paid through Parent Pay. A letter giving more information about the trip and the consent form has been sent home with students and is available on Class Charts. This is a great opportunity to practise spoken German and to really enjoy the culture of this amazing city.
