GCSE Results Day 2023

GCSE Success at Southmoor Academy

Last week we saw fantastic success at A Level, and today we were delighted to celebrate GCSE results with our Class 0f 2023.

We could not be more proud of our students, who had much to celebrate when they collected their results in school today. They are a credit to themselves, their families and their school. We witnessed some excellent outcomes over an emotional morning which are the result of a huge effort from students and staff and tremendous support from parents and carers. Don’t just take our word for it though, watch our students react as they receive their results for the first time in the video below.

Our Headteacher Mrs Joanne Maw Said:

‘Congratulations to all students in our Class of 2023 for the hard work and resilience shown throughout their studies. After facing incredible disruption to key years of their secondary education they should be very proud of their achievements. I would like to thank our fantastic staff, parents and carers for their relentless support. We wish everyone continued success in the future.’

We are delighted that more students than ever before are progressing into the sixth form at Southmoor, well equipped with the skills needed to succeed at A Level and other Level 3 courses.

Congratulations to all of our students on their hard-earned results. We wish you all every continued success for the future!
