Perfection in Poetry

A huge Congratulations to the following pupils! They have all been selected by Young Writers to have their poetry published in a book after they wrote a poem on a topic that was important to them. These pupils have been awarded a bookmark, certificate and are still in the running to have their work chosen to win the competition and win a monetary prize! The results will be revealed soon. A very big well done to our incredibly creative poets!

As a result of the competition Amy Carling (Year 10), has also been offered a contract by Olympia Publishers to publish upwards of 5000 copies of approximately 60 poems. Her work will be promoted on the radio, TV and through social media. It will also be placed in the British Archives of Oxford, Cambridge, Scotland and Ireland and will be produced with offices in Mumbai, London and L.A to appear in bookstores and E-books!
