Year 11 Mock Results Day

Last week we staged a ‘mock results day’ with our Year 11 students who have now received the results for their mock GCSE exams which they completed an earlier this term. After a short assembly students collected their results from the Sixth Form (exactly like they will do in August). It was a fantastic chance for students to experience the excitement of a results day whilst giving them a chance to reflect upon their mock exam results and consider how they would have felt if these had been the real ones that they will receive in August. By considering these feelings students can then act upon them to help them attain a set of official results later this year that will fully reflect the effort they have put into exam preparation.

It was also the first chance for those students who have given every effort in their exam preparation and met some very tough criteria to receive an early release of the much coveted Leavers Hoodies for 2024. Well done to everyone who collected their mock results today.
