Thinking of France

The MFL department have launched their visit to France for April 2025. The visit will take place from Friday 11th April to Monday 14th April 2025 (the trip goes into the Easter holidays). The group will be staying at the PGL centre Château de Grande Romaine, which is 20 miles outside of Paris. During the visit, students will have the opportunity to visit the local market in Brie to practise their spoken French, go to the magnificent Château de Fontainebleau, a former residence of the French royal family, and spend some time exploring the sites of Paris, including a river cruise and visit to the Eiffel Tower. On the return journey, there will be an opportunity to visit a hypermarket and the Canadian War Memorial at Vimy Ridge. If students would like to take part, they can collect a letter from their MFL teacher. Deposits and consent forms must be returned by Monday 22nd April so that places can be fully reserved.
